Sealtowers Limited was registered in 2015 and began operations in 2016 as a fully owned Kenyan independent tower infrastructure company. Sealtowers holds a Tier 2 CAK Network Facilities Provider (NFP) License issued by the Communication Authority of Kenya which permits it to acquire, construct, install, own, operate, and maintain cell tower passive infrastructure nationally and lease space and power to multiple mobile network operators and ISPs.

The license also allows Sealtowers to purchase and utilize frequency spectrum for electronic communications in an exclusive region. Sealtowers cell tower rollout programme is heavily supported financially and governance-wise by its shareholder investor Everstrong Capital. Through this structure, Sealtowers is focused to grow its current cell tower portfolio by over 400% in the next 1 year and aggressively build on this to own over 500 cell towers within the next 5 years.
